Where it all began.
Darne Creations was born from a deeply personal journey of love, resilience, and hope. In 2021, my world changed forever when my son Alfie was diagnosed with a heart condition during pregnancy. Navigating his complex medical journey—through heart surgery and long hospital stays—showed me the power of connection, comfort, and support.
As a heart mum and midwife, I witnessed firsthand the emotional toll on families and the healing potential of meaningful, tactile bonds. Inspired by the outpouring of support from other medical mums, I transformed my crochet business into a mission-driven brand dedicated to supporting NICU families. Every product I create is a testament to courage, a tribute to Alfie’s resilience, and a heartfelt embrace for families walking similar paths.
